Background

Steve completed at PhD at Cambridge, and then a postdoc in Oxford. Following that he worked as a Support astronomer at the Royal Greenwich Observatory and held an Advanced Fellowship at Cambridge. He took a lecturing position in Nottingham in 1999, and moved to Christchurch at the end of 2011.
