Background

Darin completed his undergraduate science degree at Victoria University of Wellington (majors of physics and maths) before heading to Queensland University of Technology to complete a masters degree in medical physics. He later completed his PhD on radiology image denoising in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Canterbury. Darin has worked as a medical physicist in both Australia and the United Kingdom, and is currently Diagnostic Physics Leader and Nuclear Medicine Physicist in the Department of Medical Physics and Bioengineering at Christchurch Hospital.
