Scholarships
For information about scholarships visit the University of Canterbury Scholarships office. Specific scholarships include:
- University of Canterbury Doctoral and Masters Scholarships. These PhD and MSc scholarships are offered by University of Canterbury:
- The PhD Scholarships provide a stipend of NZ$20,000 per annum and cover tuition fees for a period of three years.
- The MSc Scholarships provide a stipend of NZ$12,000 per annum and cover tuition fees for the research year (thesis only).
- UC International Doctoral Scholarship (PhD)
- Lord Rutherford Memorial Research Fellowship (PhD/Masters/Overseas)
- UC summer scholarships (10 weeks)
- Department of Physics & Astronomy PhD scholarships

Note: Postgraduate students from Australia qualify for domestic tuition fee charges only. Similarly all international doctoral students (PhD students) pay domestic tuition fees as well.
